Description
This unusual coffee table has been handmade from a patch work of driftwood planks in varying lengths and widths, each with its own inherent texture, shape and colour.
With an industrial and rustic feel the table is constructed with metal corners with the top supported on handcrafted three bar hairpin legs made from mild steel.
Since combing the beaches of Pembrokeshire and Cornwall from an early age, artist David Holmes’s has had an enduring fascination and interest for driftwood.
The individual qualities of each find, its inherent texture, shape and colour have all helped to inspire each of his handmade designs in creating natural products for the home that evoke memories of the seashore.
A real talking point and perfect piece for any coastal or sea themed room.
