Watchet Harbour Lighthouse – Photography Print

Description

This image of the harbour lighthouse in Watchet has been manipulated and given a pop of colour by art photographer Cliff Kinch.

The lighthouse which is a marine navigational aid marks the entrance to the Marina within the town.

Made from cast iron the lighthouse is approximately 22 feet high with a red hexagonal tower and a green lantern lens displaying a fixed green light marking the starboard approach to the marina.

“I love watching the changeable weather, Cliff says, the more dramatic the better as Mother Nature sweeps the canvas and palette clean in the blink of an eye”.

Surround by the flat green fields of Oxfordshire, Cliff lives at perhaps one of the furthest points away from the coast anywhere in England.

The draw of the sea is always difficult to resist, so he’s particularly fond of Dorset’s Jurassic coast with its dramatic colours and cliff tops, as he is of Weston-Super-Mare and Brean for the sheer expanse of beach and the stunning sunsets sweeping across the Bristol Channel.

Each landscape photograph is printed individually onto Canon Pixma Premium Glossy paper for durability.

Available in a choice of two sizes, each unframed print is sent in a cello bag with cardboard backing in a reinforced envelope for protection during delivery.
