The prints are cleverly created from sustainably foraged seaweed, found washed up and discarded along the coastline. This particular example Codium Tomentosum, seaweed was hand collected from Lannacombe Beach, South Devon, don’t get caught out if visiting as the tides can cover the sands very quickly here.

Every specimen is individually hand-pressed in their Devon studio, using traditional botanical pressing techniques. This meticulous process preserves the intricate textures, organic forms, and subtle details of each piece of seaweed, transforming it into a timeless work of coastal art.

Each print is created using seaweed carefully gathered only after it has naturally washed ashore along the Devon coastline. They are then transformed into exquisite works of art by Charlotte and Stuart, the husband-and-wife team behind the multi-award-winning Devon Seaweed Company.

This considered, sustainable approach ensures marine ecosystems remain undisturbed while actively supporting coastal conservation and reflecting a deep respect for the natural environment.

Printed on FSC certified, 300gsm art card, the A4 & A3 prints sizes will arrive backed with a recycled card board and packed within a fully compostable, recyclable, biodegradable plant based film sleeve to protect them during transit. The A2 version comes rolled in a cardboard tube.

Available in a choice of 3 sizes (A4, A3 & A2) each print is signed and numbered by hand.

Each size has a Limited edition of only 100 prints.
