Vasticardium Cockle Shell

Vasticardium Cockle Shells (vasticardium angulatum) are a large predominantly white species that belong to the large Cardiidae family of shells.

When viewed from the side it displays an elongated heart shaped outline.

Living in sandy sheltered beaches throughout the world this particular species is common in waters throughout the Indo Pacific Oceans.
