Two Fish - Tempered Metal Wall Art Hanging

This stunning semi abstract metal artwork features two fish, leaping from a wave.

The piece by artist Janet Mary Robinson is made from shining heat tempered steel creating a unique eye-catching design that would make a beautiful focal point in any room.

To create the iridescent patina on the piece, Janet tempers the metal using a gas torch. She describes this as an amazing process, rather like painting with fire.

In lower light the design appears dark, whilst in brighter light the rainbow colours reveal themselves as they sparkle and shine.

Made to last from high quality 2 mm steel, every piece is completely unique.

As an artist Janet makes paintings, metal sculpture and designs inspired by her passion for wildlife and wild places.

Many of her paintings depict the coast of Fife, where she is from and Morecambe Bay where she now lives. In her spare time she enjoys sailing and canoeing adventures with her young family and always keeps her sketchbook to hand.

Janet’s work is featured in private collections worldwide and she has exhibited in galleries and shows throughout the UK.

The artwork is supplied with an easy to use ‘invisible’ hanging system of strong magnets which allows the piece to be displayed in either direction.

Please note drilling is required to attach the two magnets to the wall (screws and full instructions are provided).
