Trio of Green Fishing Rope Wall Mirrors
This trio of unique wall mirrors by Rachel White have been created from green and speckled white fishing ropes that have been salvaged after been washed ashore.
Gathered from local beaches they are de-tangled, washed, dried, sorted and cleverly assembled to create handmade recycled mirrors and other products.
Rachel is a driftwood and strandline artist living in Weymouth with her husband, a retired seaman, just a mile from the sea.
Made in her workshop studio, she sources her materials from local beaches and bays along the Jurassic Coast of West Dorset, England.
Rachel’s work is regularly exhibited at various galleries across the southwest and recently one of her creations was selected to dress the kitchen set of ‘Ainsley’s Good Mood Food' currently seen on ITV' at the moment, every Saturday morning.
Each mirror has a toughened, bevelled edge glass mirror which adds to their reflective qualities. The mirrors are stamped and signed by the artist. 10% of proceeds from the sale of this product are being donated to the Weymouth & Portland Marine Litter Project.
On the reverse of each there’s a D ring hook for easy hanging.
The images show the actual items to be dispatched.
