Tiger Cowrie Shell

Tiger cowries are wonderfully tactile objects when nestled within the palm of your hand and are one of the best know species.

Cowries in all of their forms are probably the most collected of all shells. The variety of colour and pattern along with their smooth porcelain like finish attract a lot of interest.

Common to Indo-Pacific oceans and found in shallow waters around coral reefs.

Size: 6-7 cm  long
