Tidal Wave Jewellery Collection

A beautiful collection of tidal wave inspired jewellery, designed and handmade by Tia Rolfe of Selkie Jewellery.

I think we all have a fascination with the sea, it’s so utterly relaxing watching the waves.

Just sitting there, following the little ones in, whilst anticipating the next big wave. Seeing the shapes begin to form as they approach, watching the ripples beneath the curl and finally the crash its mixture of sea, sand and foam spreading out upon the shore.

The collection comprises of two pendant necklaces and two bracelets, each has a lovely watery, lightly dimpled textured surface.

Tia is an artist and trained Jeweller; she studied Silversmithing, goldsmithing and jewellery making at The Kent Institute of Art and Design in Rochester.

Together with a passion for the sea and inspired by the mysterious world of Selkies, she hand makes jewellery for ocean lovers around the world!

Each piece of jewellery is lovingly handcrafted on the South coast, in her little shed by the sea and is made from 925 recycled sterling silver.

Each is presented in a hand printed fabric pouch tied with a jute bow, there’s even a fun colouring Selkie postcard included.

The Small Pendant Wave Necklace is supplied on an 18 inch long sterling silver trace chain, the pendant ring itself measures 13 mm.

The Large Pendant Wave Necklace is supplied on an 18 inch long sterling silver trace chain, the pendant ring itself measures 28 mm.

The Wave Chain Bracelet has maximum length of 8 inches; the clasp can be placed on any link so the chain can be fitted to the wrist. The wave measures 13 mm.

The Wave Cord Bracelet is on Turquoise coloured cotton cord with sliding knot fastening, so the bracelet can fit any wrist size. The wave measures 14 mm
