Description
This limited edition art print entitled ‘Thurlestone Beach’ is taken from an original oil painting by Gail Morris.
The village of Thurlestone on the south Devon coast takes its name from the so-called "Thirled Stone or rock” that stands off shore, the name being derived from the word ‘Hole’ in Anglo Saxon.
Growing up in Scotland on the Orkney Isles, Ayrshire and Galloway the sea has always been part of Gail’s life.
Ever since she can remember the draw of the coast has always captured her heart.
Gail’s favourite locations are growing, but include The Isles of Scilly, Hayle and Godrevy in Cornwall, where her paintings are inspired by special moments in time.
