£100.00
Description
The fabulous white lighthouse at the edge of Holy Island, just of the tip of Anglesey is the subject of this original coastal painting by Tracy McKenna entitled ‘South Stack‘.

The scene which was painted on location (en plein air) captures late summer with a August pink sunset dipping behind the lighthouse.

Born in Cyprus, Tracy grew up in a northern mill town on the edge of the Pennines. She studied Art and Design at Nelson and Colne College and then moved on to the Arts University at Bournemouth where she graduated with a BA (Hons) and a High Commendation from the RSA.

Since then she has qualified as a teacher of Art and Design.

Inspiration is never far away as the Wirral Peninsular is only minutes from her small bright home studio.

This original work is painted in oils on canvas board and is framed in a simple unglazed white satin tray frame ready to hang.

Framed Size: 26.5 x 26.5 cm (10.5x10.5”)
