Seal Mug
Inspired by Pittenweem Harbour in the East Neuk of Fife, these colourful seal mugs by Louise Stocker are sure to bring a splash of colour to your coffee table.
There’s something rather special about favourite mugs. It’s the colour, the design, the feel of them, the way our fingers curl around their shape, the way our lips greet to meet its edges, it all adds to the experience and familiarity that becomes part of our everyday ritual.
The design is taken from one of Louise’s whimsical watercolours and depicts a little fishing boat, whilst below the waves a shoal of fish swim by as a seal sits upon a nearby rock.
Louise lives in the tiny little fishing village of Cellardyke having moved there in 2015 to fulfil a lifelong dream to live by the sea with its stunning scenery and slower pace of life.
The village which merges into the vibrant seaside town of Anstruther is situated in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which is on the Eastern coastline of Scotland.
Inspiration is never far away within the areas picture-postcard villages, its glorious sandy beaches, its wildlife and the craggy coves of this unspoilt little corner or ‘nook’ of Scotland.
The perfect gift for anyone with a love of the seaside.
Printed on both sides with a lovely gloss finish, the mugs are dishwasher-friendly and printed in vivid, long-lasting colours.
Each mug measures 9.3cm high and 8cm in diameter.
