This colourful cushion cover by Louise Stocker depicts local celebrity Sammy the Seal, basking on a rock at the picturesque harbour in Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
With a rich past and oodles of charm, Pittenweem is renowned for its yearly Pittenweem Arts Festival. Come summer, the cobbled streets and winding alleys are abuzz with countless, enchanted visitors. The bustling harbour is brimming with vibrant, colourful boats and Sammy the Sealoften stops by, eagerly awaiting treats from the local fishermen!
Louise lives in the tiny little fishing village of Cellardyke having moved there in 2015 to fulfil a lifelong dream to live by the sea with its stunning scenery and slower pace of life.
The village which merges into the vibrant seaside town of Anstruther is situated in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which is on the Eastern coastline of Scotland.
Inspiration is never far away within the areas picture-postcard villages, its glorious sandy beaches, its wildlife and the craggy coves of this unspoilt little corner or ‘nook’ of Scotland.
The cushion cover is printed in vibrant colours with a natural, stone-coloured reverse and comes with a hidden zipper. A cushion pad is not included.
