Description
This original limited edition linocut print of a Seahorse is by artist Richard Juniper.
Seahorses have always been a firm favourite in coastal themes and this endlessly fascinating species can even be found off UK and Ireland coastal waters.
The simple black and white design lends itself to a number of interior settings.
A linocut is a printmaking technique similar to that of the woodcut. The image is carved into a block of hessian covered by a thick piece of linoleum and then inked and pressed on paper to create a print.
Each one of these limited edition prints is an original work of art and is technically known as an impression as each is unique and vary slightly.
They are individually hand printed on 140gsm acid-free white cartridge paper and mounted in acid-free mount board with a fine line border.
The print is supplied framed within a simple, elegant black wood frame ready for hanging.
Each print is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist in his studio.
