Rare Red Sea Glass Pendant with Little Fish Charm

A beautifully simple design, this unique rare red sea glass pendant necklace combines a genuine piece of sea glass with a delightful individually made enamelled fish charm with pretty red and white stripes.

Worn smooth and beautifully rounded by the constant movement of the sea, each piece of sea glass has been naturally sculpted by the ebb and surge of the tide over many decades. Found in an ever-changing palette of colours and shades, white, aqua, green and brown are among the more commonly discovered colours, while blue, red and lavender are less frequently found and particularly sought after.

Inspired by an appreciation of nature and the sheer beauty and romance of what the sea leaves behind, Melinda Llewdib creates her distinctive jewellery using genuine sea glass collected from English beaches.

There is a wonderful sense of mystery surrounding these little sea gems. Once discarded, their original stories and origins have been lost to the sea, leaving behind beautifully weathered pieces that can evoke memories of seaside holidays, beachcombing and days spent by the shore.

With its softly frosted sea glass and charming red striped fish, this one-of-a-kind pendant is a lovely celebration of the sea and would make a thoughtful and inspiring gift for anyone who loves the coast.
