Pearl Imperial Delphinula Seashell

The Pearl Imperial Delphinula belongs to the family of angarinae shells which are also known as dolphin shells.

Encircling the shell is a series of hollow spines that follow its shoulder, whilst a further series of spikes continue round to the opening.

The shell has been cleaned of its natural organic matter to reveal the beautiful mother of pearl beneath.

This particular species (Angaria Delphinus) is common to the Philippines.
