Inspired by the Oystercatchers at Anstruther, these colourful coastal ceramic mugs by Louise Stocker are sure to bring a splash of sunshine to your break times.
The design is taken from one of Louise’s whimsical watercolours and depicts the beautiful sandy beach and lighthouse at Anstruther and shows an inquisitive oystercatcher pottering amongst the pebbles and shells.
The iconic Chalmers Lighthouse sits proudly on the pier with bunting strung up ready for the harbour festival. The sun is shining brightly in the summer sky with Berwick Law clearly visible on the horizon, whilst a little fishing boat is setting off to find the catch of the day.
Louise lives in the tiny little fishing village of Cellardyke having moved there in 2015 to fulfil a lifelong dream to live by the sea with its stunning scenery and slower pace of life.
The village which merges into the vibrant seaside town of Anstruther is situated in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which is on the Eastern coastline of Scotland.
Inspiration is never far away within the areas picture-postcard villages, its glorious sandy beaches, its wildlife and the craggy coves of this unspoilt little corner or ‘nook’ of Scotland.
The perfect gift for anyone with a love of the seaside.
Printed on both sides with a lovely gloss finish, the mugs are dishwasher-friendly and printed in vivid, long-lasting colours.
Each mug measures 9.3cm high and 8cm in diameter.
