Nora Yacht Mirror
The naturally distressed paintwork and wooden frame of this mirror was salvaged from the 40 foot classic yacht named ‘Nora’.
The yacht gained some notoriety in 2015 when her two-man American crew were assisted by the emergency services nine times in seven months.
She unfortunately faced a series of mishaps after several failed attempts to sail across the Atlantic to America.
Nora is currently being renovated in Hayle harbour, Cornwall.
David’s love affair with the coast and sea developed from early childhood; with salt in his blood, it’s a theme that courses through much of his work.
Living in Cornwall, David produces a range of products that include table lamps, mirrors and small furniture pieces that represent the very essence of the shoreline.
The images show the actual item to be dispatched and come with a handwritten tag describing its provenance.
Approx Size: 50 x 90 cm tall
We are also able to offer a made to measure service with wood from the Nora, simply contact us with your requirements for a quote.
