Miniature Driftwood Heart in a Tin

This intricately detailed miniature driftwood heart is a tiny work of art cleverly created by artist Rachel White. 

The little heart is decorated with pieces of natural driftwood,  tiny seashells and even some little Belemnite fossils interwoven into its design.

Presented in a little round metal tin, the heart is sure to be a wonderful surprise for any lucky recipient.

Living just a mile from the sea, Rachel is a driftwood and beachcombing artist living in Weymouth and sources her materials on her long walks along the shores of the beautiful Jurassic Coast; a World Heritage site. 

Her creations use only natural ‘as found’ driftwood pieces which have not been shaped or altered in any way.

Rachel’s work is regularly exhibited at various galleries across the southwest and recently one of her creations was selected to dress the kitchen set of ‘Ainsley’s Good Mood Food' on ITV.

The little heart is presented in a metal tin hand painted in powder blue and touched with silver gilding as shown and is stamped and signed by the artist.
