Little Shoreline Fish
Full of texture and pattern this double sided shoreline fish has been carefully decorated by artist Laurence Henry.
The double sided design features a wonderfully encrusted copper verdigris tail and hangs from a fish lure made from frosted glass and coloured wooden beads.
Sure to find a home on any wall, the fish could also be suspended from a thread to gently spin, displaying both sides at once.
Created on a driftwood find, Laurence uses a variety of techniques to create interesting textural relief designs on his highly desirable coastal art works.
Laurence has worked as a freelance artist to Liberty, Parker Knoll, Habitat and Gallery Five, before eventually taking full time employment with the BBC as a graphic designer illustrating material for Play School and Jackanory.
Since his early retirement he’s been able to concentrate on his artwork, which has always been an important focus to his creativity.
His work is currently exhibited at various galleries around the country.
A unique and individual piece of coastal art.
