Gara Rock Beach, Devon – Limited Edition Print

This limited edition print by Alison Collins is taken from one of her original fine art line drawings of Gara Rock beach in Devon.

Gara Rock beach is located near East Portlemouth Salcombe in South Hams, Devon. Its incredibly picturesque with beautiful golden sands and uninterrupted views out to sea.

The saying goes ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ and similarly a few simple well-drawn lines can convey a subject, stir emotions or feelings that can transport you to your own special place.

Alison spent much of her childhood travelling the world; her father was in the film industry, whilst her mother was an interior designer who filled the family home with original paintings. On their travels she had the opportunity to visit many museums and galleries in wondrous locations which ultimately ignited her love of art.

After studying Graphic Design at university, she went on to become Head of Design for a large insurance company for a number of years.

Her passion for drawing has grown ever stronger and making memories has now become her priority.  There’s nothing quite like taking a blank piece of paper and turning it into an emotive, nostalgic artwork in a unique special way.

Her inspiration mainly comes from the seaside, particularly the Cornish and Dorset Coastlines.

Printed on Unicorn White 250gsm (FSC Certified, 100% Recycled) paper and hand signed by the artist.

Each print is wrapped in a biodegradable, compostable cello bag and backed with 100% recycled greyboard for protection.
