Description
This colourful and mouth-watering Fruits de Mer print by Andrew Ruffhead depicts all manner of fresh seafood’s.
Taken from an original gouache painting, each A3 sized print is individually signed by the artist and would make the perfect addiction to any kitchen.
Andrew lives in the pretty village of Burnham Market, a pebble’s throw from the stunning beaches of the North Norfolk coast.
Here he works in his studio gallery, producing pen and ink drawings, lino prints, cyanotype photography and artworks made from driftwood and reclaimed boats.
He studied Painting and Printmaking at Brighton Polytechnic, and then Printed Textile Design at the Central School of Art and Design. He was Head of printed Textiles at the University of East London for fifteen years as well as designing for many companies including Osborne and Little, The Designers Guild and Calvin Klein.
Andrew is passionate about where he lives near the coast with its big skies and vast sands. It’s real foodie heaven too, with Brancaster mussels, Thornham oysters, Cromer crabs and so much more in the fishy stakes readily available, it’s not surprising that there’s plenty of inspiration for his brightly coloured images.
His work is shown in many galleries around the country.
Each print is made on high quality 250 gsm archival acid free art paper has been signed by the artist and is ready to frame.
