Fox Head Shell

The fox heads soft colouring gives way to a detailed lining around the aperture.

Fox Head shells (Fasciolaria trapezium Linne) belong to a large group of medium to large shells that live in warm tropical waters.

Also known as tulip shells they are an abundant species common to the Indo Pacific.

Size: approx 10-12 cm long   (4-5 inches)
