Fossilised Bangle Bracelet - Silver

Handcrafted in wax and fashioned from recycled silver, this beautiful Fossilised silver bangle by Sarah Adams, features a unique texture of ammonite fossil prints.

The stunning custom-made unique design is expertly handcrafted throughout a meticulous process involving wax sculpting and sand casting and features an intricately textured surface from a new collection of pieces inspired by the ever changing landscape of the British coastline.

Using age old techniques that blend ancient artistry with hands on craftsmanship, jeweller’s wax is carved and sculpted, capturing every curve and detail before being pressed into fine sand to leave an impression like a fossilized memory. Molten silver is then poured to complete the process.

Each piece is lovingly handcrafted by Sarah in her home studio in the small coastal town of Burnham-on-Crouch in the South East of England.

Sarah has always been a creative person, though jewellery making was not the first thing that sprang to mind. She’d dreamt of being a fashion designer, textile designer, coffee shop owner, journalist, author, doctor, candle maker and perfumier, before eventually settling on jewellery as an expression for her creativity.

Passionate about sustainability, Sarah uses 925 recycled sterling silver when creating her delightful designs.

Each handmade bangle is unique and takes 2-3 weeks to craft. Each is hallmarked to guarantee its authenticity and quality, and comes beautifully packaged in a soft cotton drawstring bag, accompanied by a complimentary polishing cloth to help preserve its brilliant shine.

Available in a choice of three sizes:  small, medium and large.
