Driftwood Twig Lamp

A simple bunch of driftwood twigs bleached by the sun and sculptured into smooth tactile shapes by the sea and sand form the basis of this driftwood electric lamp.

Artistically arranged to form a crown shape around an energy efficient lamp and casting lovely shadows on the wall with its warm glow, this lamp would make a lovely addition to any coastal themed interior.

For artist David Holmes the fascination and interest has never wavered for driftwood since combing the beaches of Pembrokeshire and Cornwall from an early age.

The special qualities of each find, its inherent texture, shape and colour have all helped to inspire each of his handmade designs in creating natural products that evokes memories of the seashore.
