Driftwood Transom Shelf | Julia Horberry

Driftwood Transom Shelf

£150.00
Description
This very individual driftwood shelf is made from part of a Transom; that’s the vertical section at the rear of a boat where the rudder and motor reside.

Perfect for creating a coastal theme with its simple rustic design, it’s a useful addition to any home.

The shelf displays the original name plate of the maker and declares...

“BUILT BY JAN MORGAN RUAN MINOR 1986”,

Ruan Minor is a tiny village located on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall.

This piece was made byJulia Horberry. Based in Cornwall she spends hours scouring the beaches and climbing the cliffs to reach hidden coves to collect items for her driftwood creations.

As you might expect her little workshop is made from all sorts of bit and bobs and it’s here between drinking coffee and looking out across the sea she makes each of her unique pieces.

Each driftwood creation is individually signed by the maker.
