The driftwood forming the frame and shelf of this mirror was largely sourced from Hive Beach, near Burton Bradstock in Dorset.

The image of driftwood washed up on a lonely beach is one that never fails to capture the imagination.

Based in the Blackdown hills of Somerset, artist Rosey Reed collects items from as far afield as Cornwall, Pembrokeshire and the coastlines of Devon and Dorset for her driftwood inspirations.

Roaming, collecting and making compositions from the range of materials she gathers is at the core of the rustic and organic pieces of decorative art she creates.
