Driftwood Jewellery Hanger - Tall

A beautiful handmade driftwood jewellery hanging stand by artist Rachel White. 

Pieces of naturally textured driftwood have been cleverly fashioned into a wonderfully functional jewellery stand to accommodate and show off your items, whilst making it easier to select your options for the day.

The piece has a lift off rail and incorporates seashells from three different continents, as well as sea glass, fossils and repurposed mother of pearl beads, together with a scallop shell trinket dish attached for small items.

Suitable for pendant necklaces with 18 inch chains, though of course longer chains can be wrapped around the lift-off rail.

Rachel is a driftwood and strandline artist living in Weymouth with her husband, a retired seaman, just a mile from the sea.

Made in her workshop studio, she sources her materials from local beaches and bays along the Jurassic Coast of West Dorset, England.

Her creations use only natural ‘as found’ driftwood pieces - in other words driftwood which has not been shaped or altered in any way.

Rachel’s work is regularly exhibited at various galleries across the southwest and recently one of her creations was selected to dress the kitchen set of ‘Ainsley’s Good Mood Food' on ITV.

Her signature driftwood artwork often includes tiny interwoven found objects to add interest to her pieces, such as sea glass, small shells and on occasion finds such as beach pottery fragments, fossils or beach metal.

Each piece is signed and stamped by the artist and is ready for use.
