Down to the Sea, Gwithian Towans – Print

Taken from an original oil painting entitled ‘Down to the Sea’ by Gail Morris, this stunning art print captures the charming paths that wind through the Gwithian Towans sand dunes, leading down to the picturesque Hayle beach in Cornwall.

One of Gail’s favourite locations, Hayle sits on the edge of a beautiful estuary leading to St Ives Bay where to the north lie almost three miles of golden sands; you can just make out the lighthouse in the distance.

Having grown up on the Orkney Isles, Ayrshire and Galloway the sea has always been part of Gail’s life. Ever since she can remember the draw of the coast has always captured her heart

Her favourite locations are growing, but include The Isles of Scilly, Hayle and Godrevy in Cornwall, where her paintings are inspired by special moments in time.

A full time artist Gail lives in Bishopsteignton in Devon and is a self taught artist, having always loved painting since childhood.

Gail has strong following in the West Country and has clients as far afield as America, Italy, Germany, New Zealand and Australia.
