Coastal Box Frame - Number 19
There’s a wonderful simplicity about this coastal box frame and the way it captures the crisp, clean and thoroughly wild aspects of the sea.
The ordinarily unnoticed becomes a delightful curiosity when framed.
With a real love of the coastal environment this individual and very unique frame by Peter Clayton has been carefully made from items collected along the shoreline.
One of his favourite haunts is Dungeness, the desolate shingle beach on the Kent coast.
Beachcombing has fascinated Peter since childhood and over the years he’s built up a considerable collection of interesting objects and driftwood finds.
With a combination of driftwood, shells and stones he now creates attractive images that are perfect reminders of the coast and make ideal gifts.
As a retired TV producer Peter has more time now to indulge in his passion – having studied at Art School and worked as a Graphic Designer for many years he is still using his creative skills to produce these desirable coastal montages.
Each glass fronted box frame has been individually signed and numbered by the designer.
