Coastal Box Frame - Number 18
Three very individual shaped pebbles, driftwood pieces and a small sea urchin form the basis of this simple coastal box frame by Peter Clayton
With a real love of the coastal environment, this individual and very unique frame has been carefully made from items collected along the shoreline.
One of Peter’s favourite haunts is Dungeness, the desolate shingle beach on the Kent coast.
Beachcombing has fascinated him since childhood and over the years Peter’s built up a considerable collection of interesting objects and driftwood finds.
With a combination of driftwood, shells and stones he now creates attractive images that are perfect reminders of the coast and make ideal gifts.
As a retired TV producer Peter has more time now to indulge in his passion – having studied at Art School and worked as a Graphic Designer for many years he is still using his creative skills to produce these desirable coastal montages.
Each glass fronted box frame has been individually signed and numbered by the designer.
