Christmas Fishing Net Wreath No 6
This unique Christmas Wreath by Rachel White has been made from recycled fishing nets and is finished with a red wired Kirkland ribbon.
Gathered from local beaches the nets are de-tangled, washed, dried, sorted and cleverly assembled to create handmade recycled wreaths and other products.
Rachel is a driftwood and strandline artist living in Weymouth with her husband, a retired seaman, just a mile from the sea.
Made in her workshop studio, she sources her materials from local beaches and bays along the Jurassic Coast of West Dorset, England.
Rachel’s work is regularly exhibited at various galleries across the southwest and recently one of her creations was selected to dress the kitchen set of ‘Ainsley’s Good Mood Food' on ITV.
Each wreath is individual in pattern and colour, numbered, stamped and signed by the artist. 10% of proceeds from the sale are being donated to the local marine litter project group.
The wreath has a hanging loop and is suitable for indoor or sheltered porch use only.
