Burgh Island - print

This artist signed art print of Burgh Island, looks out from Bigbury-on-Sea and is taken from an original oil painting by Gail Morris.

Burgh Island is an iconic landmark on the South Devon coast, separated from the mainland by a tidal beach.

Access at low tide is by foot across the beach, but when the tide turns the island can be accessed by a towering sea tractor.

There are several buildings on the island, but the largest and most dominant is the Art Deco Burgh Island Hotel.

Growing up in Scotland on the Orkney Isles, Ayrshire and Galloway the sea has always been part of Gail’s life. Ever since she can remember the draw of the coast has always captured her heart

Her favourite locations are growing, but include The Isles of Scilly, Hayle and Godrevy in Cornwall, where her paintings are inspired by special moments in time.

A full time artist Gail works from her studio in Staplehay, near Taunton, Somerset.

Gail has strong following in the West Country and has clients as far afield as America, Italy, Germany, New Zealand and Australia.

Each artist signed print comes either mounted with a card back in a cellophane wrap or framed in a white glass fronted frame with certificate of authenticity.
