Budleigh Salterton - Framed Linocut Print
This original limited edition linocut print by artist Richard Juniper depicts a stand of pine trees at the mouth of the River Otter where it meets the sea at Budleigh Salterton in East Devon.
This is an original three-layer linocut design.
A linocut is a printmaking technique similar to that of the woodcut. The image is carved into a block of hessian covered by a thick piece of linoleum and then inked and pressed on paper to create a print.
Each one of these limited edition prints is an original work of art and is technically known as an impression as each is unique and may vary slightly.
They are individually hand printed on 120gsm acid-free white cartridge paper using blue and black inks, mounted in acid-free mount board with a fine line border.
The print is supplied framed within a simple, elegant black wood frame ready for hanging.
Each print is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist in his studio.
