Blue Shore Line - Table Lamp

The blue shore line design on these ceramic table lamps was inspired by the beautiful blue skies and white crested waves of the Cornish coastline.

The bases are individually thrown on the potter’s wheel making each one quite unique. A blue slip is then brushed on in a spontaneous, painterly style to emphasis the form.

Each lamp is a collaboration between ceramicist Rebecca Harvey and designer David Raine.

Rebecca is based at the Gaolyard studios in St.Ives where her work is influenced by the Cornish traditions of pottery and the local landscape.

David, also based in Cornwall creates wonderful pieces of furniture and original lighting pieces. His love affair with the coast and sea developed from early childhood, with salt in his blood it’s a theme that courses through much of his work.

Due to the handmade nature and individual character of the thrown bases there may be a slight variation in size and decoration.

The lamp has a stainless steel stem and is available with or without shade.
