Avocets on Driftwood Log

This delightful hand painted display of four little metal Avocet birds perched on a driftwood log would make a lovely addition to any seaside home.

Avocets in the wild are graceful birds with striking black and white plumage and only started to re-colonise our shores towards the end of the twentieth century.

The tiny population continues to expand spreading the species slowly northward.

Although each set of Avocets follows the same design, there will be slight differences to the base due to the individual nature of the driftwood used.

A lovely finishing touch in any room setting.
