Astraea Undosa Shell

Beautifully designed by nature the Astraea Undosa shell has been cleverly polished by hand to reveal the mother of pearl beneath.

This wavy conical or top-shaped shell like many species, reveals an amazing array of glistening colours now the outer layers have been removed and polished.

Top shells belong to the large Troca (Trochidae) family of some hundred species, and can be found worldwide.
