Living in Norfolk the pace of life seems so different it’s perhaps not surprising that this is reflected in Stuart’s work.
When creating a painting he aims to recreate the atmosphere of a scene rather than just creating a direct copy.

I've been an artist all my life says Stuart and studied fine art at university. Originally I started with detailed drawings, then photography and back to painting,specifically acrylics on canvas.
As an artist I'm constantly expanding, refining and challenging myself when it comes to developing my own art style, which is probably best described as contemporary impressionism at this time.
Stuart’s work is shown in many galleries around the country.
Painted in acrylics on a deep edged canvas stretcher, the sides have been painted a deep blue.
The work is supplied unframed, ready for hanging.
